Day 1: Flight to Kayseri/Nevsehir with overnight in Cappadocia
You will take a late afternoon flight from Istanbul to Kayseri or Nevsehir. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia. Check in to your hotel in Cappadocia and rest of the day is free. Overnight in Cappadocia. Day 2: Full Day North Cappadocia tour with Hot - air Balloon Ride Option with overnight in Cappadocia
Early Morning 5:30 am: Pick-up from hotel for hot air balloon ride. After hot air balloon ride dropped off back to hotel. After breakfast around 9:30 am you will be picked up from your hotel to join the full day tour of North Cappadocia. You will visit the Devrent Valley and Pasabag or Monk's Valley where you will be able to see the world famous fairy chimneys. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. After lunch you will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum to explore the numerous churches and monasteries with their frescoes. These churches and monasteries were carved from the soft volcanic stone and decorated by Medieval Orthodox Christian Monks around 1000-1200AD. You will also visit Ortahisar a natural rock castle to enjoy panoramic views of the area. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel around 17:00. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B, L) Day 3: Full Day South Cappadocia Tour, Flight to Istanbul
After breakfast check out from your hotel in Cappadocia. You will be picked up from your hotel to join the full day tour of South Cappadocia. You will visit the Derinkuyu Underground City which was built as a defence and hiding place during the period of spreading Christianity. Next you will tour Cavusin Old Christian Village where you will see the triple Apse church and the monastery of St John the Baptist. In Sinasos Old Greek Village you find old Greek and Ottoman houses. On this tour, you will also enjoy an easy hike approximately 3 km through the Red Valley which offers some great scenery which is not accessible by car. You may inform your tour guide if unable to join the hike and can wait in the car for the next site. Next you will visit Uchisar a natural rock castle. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. After the tour, you will be transferred from Cappadocia to Kayseri/Nevsehir Airport for your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival you will be picked-up from the airport and transferred to your hotel in Istanbul. END OF SERVICES. (B, L)
